How I help
Get to know me
Free meet and greet
Chosing a Doula or Birth Attendant is a really personal experience. The person you choose to join your birth team has to be someone that you feel completely comfortable with, and who is 100% on the same page as you. It is important that you speak to several providers to make sure that you have found the right person for you.
Meet with me for an absolutely obligation-free, no cost meet-and-greet. Let's have a cuppa and get to know each other.

Birth preparation
2 x face-to-face preparation sessions
During your pregnancy I will meet with you at least twice (or more if you would like). We will explore the kind of birth experience you are aiming for, how I can support you during that experience, how I will work with the rest of your birth team to support them, and what knowledge you have - and still need.Â
Typically during our first meeting, we will begin to discuss your birth plan, and I will provide you with templates if you need them. During our second meeting we will discuss your birth plan further, and spend time exploring how you are feeling about birth and beyond.

On-call and in-person
During labour
I am on-call for you 24 hours a day from when you reach 38 weeks gestation. I provide support over the phone to you during the earlier stages of labour, and join you as you arrive at the hospital. Where it is needed, I am happy to negotiate attending your home during the earlier stages of your labour.Â
I provide hands-on support to help you during your labour, either directly or by supporting your partner. It is my job to make sure that your birth preferences are respected, and to hold the space for you so that you can focus on you and your baby.
Once you have given birth IÂ stay and support you and your birth team for as long as you need, before I leave you for some beautiful bonding time with your baby.

Postnatal
Birth debrief
Some time after you have given birth, and have started to settle into your 'new normal', I will visit you for a birth debrief. This can be a cuppa and a chat, or a more formal process, depending on how you are feeling. I draw on nearly 15 years of debriefing high-intensity, immersive experiences when we have these conversations.
Pregnancy and childbirth is an incredibly intense experience, and having a debrief (whether formal or informal) is a great way to help place a punctuation mark in your journey as a parent.
